
About MISS MISS is a nonprofit, volunteer based organization committed to providing emergency support to families in crisis after the death of their baby or young child from any cause.We are here to help families cope with the resultant feelings of overwhelming grief and loss.

Founded in 1983, the American SIDS Institute, a national nonprofit health care organization, is dedicated to the prevention of sudden infant death and the promotion of infant health through an aggressive, comprehensive nationwide program of research and family support

The Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Alliance exists to ensure the elimination of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome through medical research and education while providing support to those affected by an infant death.

The CJ Foundation for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome is a nationwide voluntary health organization dedicated to recognizing the special needs of the SIDS community through funding SIDS research and support services. The Foundation hopes to increase public awareness of SIDS and to contribute to a future in which no parent is faced with the tragedy of losing a loved one to SIDS.

The National Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Resource Center (NSRC) provides information services and technical assistance on sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS)and related topics. Our goal is to promote understanding of SIDS and provide comfort to those affected by SIDS through information sharing.

This board is devoted to providing support and advice to parents who have lost a baby due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome or who have fears and apprehensions about the possibility of SIDS. This board is a parent to parent discussion board and is not a medically supervised board. This is a SUPPORT board. 
The Association of SIDS and Infant Mortality Programs (ASIP, formerly ASPP, Association of SIDS Program Professionals) is an association of health and human service providers committed to bereavement support and risk reduction activities. ASIP promotes programs of counseling, education, advocacy, and research to ensure a supportive community response for those affected by infant and child death and to reduce the risk of death for future children. 
The Global Strategy Task Force is an independent group of SIDS researchers, clinicians and educationalists who are interested in networking their efforts on an international level to enhance SIDS research and education. The role of parent advocacy is undertaken by SIDS International, which formally links national SIDS organizations.
